Aligned Leadership Retreat

Lead from truth. Not from training.

Every boardroom has a childhood in it. Learn to lead from the woman, not the wound.

June 2 – June 5, 2027  ·  Lewiston, New York

Most leadership retreats stop at frameworks and a keynote.

This one gives you that — plus the clinical depth to trace your leadership back to where it started, and the nervous-system work to actually change it.

Attachment theory. Equine therapy. Somatic practice. Four days.

What This Retreat Actually Is...

Walk into any boardroom and you'll find a childhood standing quietly in the corner of it.

It's in the way you soften a directive so no one gets upset. The way you over-explain a decision you were fully qualified to make. The way you go quiet the second the room gets tense.

None of that is a personality flaw. It's conditioning — and conditioning can be traced, named, and unlearned. That's the work of these four days.

Most leadership work stops at strategy. This starts earlier — at the root, where the pattern was actually formed — so what you lead with next is chosen, not conditioned.

YES! I WANT IN!

What You'll Leave With

  • What You'll Leave With

    • A clear picture of your attachment style and exactly how it shows up in the way you lead
    • A working understanding of how to move from reactive, protective leadership into grounded, embodied authority
    • An honest reflection of your leadership from the arena — horses respond to your nervous system, not your resume, and what they mirror back will be more direct than any 360 review
    • A body that knows how to stay regulated under pressure — practiced through somatic work, not just discussed
    • The ability to hold power without performing it, and receive feedback without collapsing or defending
    • Your own leadership statement, written in your own words, that becomes your compass for every room you walk into after this one
I AM ALL IN!

What each day looks like...

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2

Check-in & Settle in

Get settled and meet the other women on the retreat. We'll mingle, set intentions for the next four days, and ease into the space together over a quiet evening while enjoying light hors d'oeuvres.

THURSDAY, JUNE 3

Naming & Understanding the Pattern

After breakfast, we begin our first teaching: naming your attachment style and tracing the invisible ways it shows up in how you delegate, handle conflict, receive feedback, and hold power. This is the work most leadership retreats never touch, because they teach frameworks instead of tracing origins.

Ayurvedic inspired lunch at the house.

From there, we build the outer skill on top of it through experiential activities— hard conversations, conflict resolution, and steadying a team through uncertainty — practiced against a foundation strong enough to hold up in the room, not just on paper. This is where presence stops being something you understand and becomes something you can actually use.

Evening is yours — rest at the house or explore Lewiston.

Dinner is on your own tonight-go out alone or as a group.

Return after dinner for a guided Yoga Nidra meditation to ease you into sleep.

FRIDAY, JUNE 4

Into the Arena

After breakfast, we step into the arena — literally. Equine therapy strips away every polished narrative you've built about yourself. Horses are prey animals, which means they survive by reading nervous systems, not resumes — so they respond to whatever's actually true in your body in that moment, not the version of you that gives a good interview. The tension you're masking, the authority you're not fully standing in, the calm you've only rehearsed — it all shows up in how the horse moves toward you or away from you. What it reflects back about your leadership will be more honest than any 360 review, because you can't manage or perform around it.

We process and discuss what comes up right there in the moment — while the realization is still raw, before it has a chance to harden into a tidy story you tell about yourself later.

We return to the house for a nourishing lunch.

After lunch, a somatic practice grounds the insight in the body, so leadership stops being a performance you rehearse and becomes a felt sense of embodiment.

We go out for dinner as a group, and upon our return, the evening leaves room to simply connect and rest.

SATURDAY, JUNE 5

Write & Depart

After a nourishing breakfast, the group comes back together one last time to reflect on what shifted, name what you're each taking home, and write your leadership statement — in your own words, leading from truth, not fear. Not a new leader. The one who was in you all along.

I AM READY TO CREATE MY ALIGNED LEADERSHIP
NICE TO MEET YOU

I'm Leanne Jamison

For more than 20 years as a licensed professional counselor, I've sat with leaders to understand the patterns they didn't choose—the ones formed long before they ever had a title, shaped by every authority figure who came before them.

Before I built the Institute for Female Trailblazers, I spent almost a decade in corporate leadership myself, leading a team of leaders and clinicians — so I know this work from both sides of the table.

My work is grounded in attachment theory and authentic leadership frameworks, and I bring clinical depth, along with somatic and experiential practice, to help high-achieving women move from conditioned leadership into leadership that's actually theirs.

"My experience was nothing short of transformative.  Grateful beyond words for the souls who walked this path with me, the moments that reshaped me, and the energy that continues to flow through me."

Carrie Rengert

"The power of vulnerability and connection with amazing souls. The depth of the connections and being fully supported by women and a community that understands and "gets" you. The laughter and the tears....such a transformational experience!"

Whitney Fuller

"I can't just choose one favorite part of the retreat! Too hard. The hikes, the Breathwork session, the Journaling, the Let Go burning session, and the unstructured downtime where authentic, meant-to-be connections took place with each other."
